Singer Studio extended 12 year warranty for Singer Sewing Machines

Singer machines come as standard with a 2 year guarantee. You can extend this guarantee directly with Singer Studio to cover you for a full 12 years.

Covers Sewing Machine used in a domestic / home setting only.

We recommend to keep the original packaging (outer box and polystyrene inner packaging) as it would protect your machine in transit in the event your machine needed to be sent for repair or service.

Your machine must be serviced at a Singer Studio approved warranty centre every 2 years for this extended warranty to remain valid. Standard service charges apply. We will email you a service reminder once every 12 months.

Guarantee of Singer Sewing Machines

This Guarantee covers Singer domestic sewing machines sold by Singer Studio in the United Kingdom.

Under the terms of this guarantee defects in the machine or accessories which arise from faulty workmanship or materials will be repaired free of charge subject to the conditions set out below. Liability for consequential damage whether direct or indirect is excluded.

If it is not practical or economic to repair your machine, Singer Studio or Singer UK reserve the right replace it with the same or a similar model.

This Guarantee is valid for 10 years from the date of the expiry of your 2 year Singer Guarantee. This Guarantee does not apply if any of the following applies:

• a. The product is serviced other than by a Singer authorised engineer or fitted with other than Singer approved parts.
• b. The machine is used for profit or trade or other than in normal domestic circumstances.
• c. The machine is used on any supply circuit or voltage range other than that shown on the rating place on the product and/or motor.
• d. Parts requiring replacement due to normal wear or to faults caused by negligent or other incorrect use not in accordance with recommendations given in the instruction book.
• e. The plug has not been fitted and fused in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
• f. To any needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, needle plates or light bulbs.
• g. To any transportation charges.
• h. Bought as a second-hand product.
• i. Adjustments and maintenance which are the customer’s responsibility.
• j. Adjustments to the timing of the sewing machine.
• k. Other than to the first retail purchaser.
• l. Damage caused by not correctly following the operating instructions.
• m. Damage caused by accidental or deliberate misuse.
• n. Consumable items such as but not limited to belts, bobbin cases, needle plates are not covered under this guarantee.
• o. Carriage and redelivery costs are not covered or reimbursable.
• p. Computerised components / circuit boards will not be covered under this guarantee, however labour to fit parts will be covered for the full duration of this guarantee.
  
• q. Machines that have not been serviced within the last 2 years at a registered Singer service centre or Singer Studio.

This extended warranty excludes damage, misuse, repairs caused by overuse or any commercial use. Consumable items such as belts, bulbs, needle threaders, needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, needle plates are not covered under this guarantee.

The standard guarantee is given by the Singer UK and is a 2 year manufacturer guarantee. This extends the guarantee to 12 years directly with Singer Studio.

This Guarantee does not affect your statutory rights and applies to personal purchases only. This product is non-transferable and can only be applied to the original purchaser.

Please note this extended guarantee is not available presses or other items other than domestic sewing machines and overlockers purchased at Singer Studio.
